Comfort food is one of those things that is somewhat difficult to define, since its different for everyone. Generally, comfort food is warm or hot, its not too healthy, but most importantly - it makes one feel good! For some it is a bowl of chicken noodle soup (I knew people who would not accept any other medicine for cold). For others, its a true-American-artery-clogging-heart-stopping breakfast of eggs, bacon, sausage and waffles. There is almost no better place for getting true comfort food then a Diner. On the top of the list are the true Diners of inner cities, where the more authentic the better. They are followed by some of the regional establishments that may lack in quality, but definitely have the undying loyalty of those who live near them. Southerners will undoubtedly recognize Waffle House as one of those establishments. And of course on the bottom of our list are the national chains of IHOP, Dennys and the such. However, regardles what your restaurant choice is, there is no doubt that your personal comfort food (found at the right time of course) will return you to life and work from the effects of various exceses in your life.
